Company CampaignsCompanies who conduct a United Way campaign with their employees are central to our program. Please contact us if your company is interested in conducting a United Way campaign. If your company has never considered working with Centre County United Way , consider the following: BEING A GOOD CORPORATE CITIZEN is part of what companies need to do. Supporting United Way means supporting a credible, broad-based and efficiently run fundraising program. Building good and profitable companies is a noble human calling which makes the good works of civil society achievable – United Way represents the good works of civil society.ONE CAMPAIGN HELPS MULTIPLE NEEDS, making sponsorship of a United Way campaign like one-stop shopping. Rather than being contacted multiple times throughout the year by several different charities, a single gift to United Way helps 37 agencies. MORALE IMPROVES when employees come together to do something collectively to help their community. EMPLOYEES USE AGENCY SERVICES regardless of their income or position. One in three Centre Countians now uses the services of a United Way funded agency. Providing employees with the opportunity to hear about United Way agency services gives them important information about where to look for help if needed by them or their families. Employees deserve the opportunity to be asked. GOOD WORKS = GOOD BUSINESS. Through United Way, there are several opportunities for recognition, and networking with other companies and potential customers.
