About the Student United Way

The Student United Way is a group of Penn State students who plan and conduct fundraising projects that support the initiatives of the Centre County United Way. The group also networks with United Way agency partners to conduct service projects on their behalf.

The core project of the Student United Way is sponsorship of the Trash to Treasure Sale Room in East Halls, where donations from Penn State residence hall students that are received at the end of summer and fall semesters are resold at sales in the beginning of fall and spring semesters. For additional information, contact Bryan King, bpk131@psu.edu.

Meetings occur every other Monday, 8:30pm throughout fall and spring semesters. For meeting dates and locations, contact:

President - Matt Huber, msh209@psu.edu
Vice-President - Cara Reitnauer, cjr198@psu.edu
