Lynne Johnson is a retiree of the Pennsylvania State University where she worked in various positions within the World Campus, Penn State’s online campus. She holds a master's degree in instructional systems and a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Penn State. In her last position, Lynne was the Director of World Campus Academic Development Services. In her role as director, Lynne worked with her staff to ensure that World Campus students were prepared to succeed in their courses through services such as a new student orientation, online tutoring, and success coaching. Lynne also served as the objective lead for the World Campus strategic goal to improve retention and graduation rates. Prior to her work in student support and retention, Lynne managed an instructional design team charged with creating high-quality online courses
