Centre County United Way Announces New Board Members, Leadership, and Staff Role Updates

Centre County, PA — Centre County United Way (CCUW) is pleased to announce the addition of new members to its Board of Directors, the continued leadership of its 2026 Board Chair and Vice Chair, and recent staff updates that reflect the organization’s growth and evolving priorities.

The newly appointed board members include Tina Collins, Interim Chief Financial Officer of Kish Bank, serving as Treasurer; Terra Ingram, Project Manager with Penn State’s Strategic Interdisciplinary Research Office, serving as Director; Jane Mack, retired professional, serving as Director; Phil Miles, attorney and shareholder with McQuaide Blasko, serving as Director; and Christopher Daher, Assistant Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager at Kish Bank, serving as Director.

The Board will be led by Doug Workman, General Manager for Alexander Building Construction, serving as Board Chair, and Julian Morales, Director of Local Government and Community Relations at Penn State, serving as Vice Chair.

“Strong leadership at both the board and staff level is essential to advancing our mission,” said Megan Evans, Executive Director of Centre County United Way. “We are grateful for the continued commitment of our board leaders, the dedication of our returning members, and the fresh perspectives brought by our new directors as we move our work forward.”

Tina Collins brings extensive financial leadership experience to her role as Treasurer, supporting CCUW’s commitment to responsible fiscal stewardship.
Terra Ingram contributes expertise in project management and strategic coordination through her work with Penn State’s Strategic Interdisciplinary Research Office.
Jane Mack offers thoughtful leadership informed by a career of professional experience and community engagement.
Phil Miles provides legal and governance expertise through his role as a shareholder with McQuaide Blasko.
Christopher Daher brings strong community connections and financial expertise through his work at 

Kish Bank and his extensive volunteer leadership across Centre County.

CCUW also extends sincere appreciation to the following board members who will continue their service: Angela Steco (Seven Mountains Media), Lynne Johnson (retired), Allayn Beck (State College Food Bank), Christine Bishop (Centre County Youth Service Bureau), Tama Carey (Foxdale Village), Nancy Chiswick (retired), Chad Feather (Timberland Federal Credit Union),  Judy Pfleegor (retired), Shannah Sasala (Centre Concrete), Sara Thorndike (Penn State), and Colleen Williams (CNB Bank).

In addition to board updates, CCUW announced staff title changes that align with the organization’s continued growth following the appointment of Megan Evans as Executive Director.

As part of this transition, Ja Nae Wian has been named Brand & Engagement Manager, transitioning from her previous role as Campaign & Relationship Manager. In this expanded role, she will lead the organization’s branding, communications, marketing, and community engagement efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and meaningful connection with donors, partners, and the broader community.

Additionally, John Sutilla has been promoted from Finance Coordinator to Finance Manager, recognizing his expanded responsibilities and leadership within the organization’s financial operations. In his new role, he will continue to oversee financial processes while supporting strategic planning, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

“These updates reflect both the strong foundation already in place and our commitment to aligning leadership and roles with the needs of our organization and community,” Evans added.

CCUW’s Board of Directors and staff work collaboratively to guide strategic direction, ensure responsible governance, and strengthen partnerships that support a thriving Centre County.
