Centre County United Way Announces 2026 Day of Caring Presented by Kish Bank
STATE COLLEGE, PA — Centre County United Way (CCUW) is excited to announce that its annual Day of Caring will take place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, bringing together volunteers from across Centre County for one of the community's largest single-day volunteer events. This year's event is proudly presented in partnership with Kish Bank.
Day of Caring connects local businesses, civic organizations, schools, faith communities, and individual volunteers with nonprofit organizations throughout Centre County to complete meaningful service projects. From landscaping and painting to organizing, cleaning, and facility improvements, volunteers provide hands-on support that helps local nonprofits dedicate more of their resources to serving the community.
"Day of Caring is a powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together with a shared purpose," said Megan Evans, Executive Director. "Every project completed represents time, talent, and compassion invested directly into strengthening our community. We're thrilled to welcome Kish Bank as our presenting partner and look forward to another incredible day of service."
As presenting partner, Kish Bank joins Centre County United Way in encouraging businesses and community members to make a tangible difference by volunteering their time and talents.
"Community has always been at the heart of what we do," said Greg Hayes, President and CEO, Kish Bank.
"We're honored to partner with Centre County United Way to help make Day of Caring 2026 another successful opportunity for neighbors to support neighbors."
Organizations, businesses, or individuals interested in volunteering will have opportunities to register in the coming days by visiting the ccunitedway.org/day-caring.
